Other games allow for this. It would be kinda cool. Also, I like the idea mentioned above about being able to preview armor before you buy it. I know, there's usually somone out there with what you want, but I would be nice to see it on a model first...especially if you plan to mix and match.

I think in one of her chats Gaile said something about her wish list (or something to that effect) was merchant types that can change hair and offer 'town clothes'. Would be a great goldsink, as someone said.
I'd love to have my Ele dressed in the fancy digs of a Mesmer. Even if it's just to walk around town showing off! LOL
Or.. and Inn where we can go have some drinks, socialize..all in our fancy party clothes.

The ability to change ones appearance would be nice and charge for it.
100g for a hair change, plenty of people would pay that. Dyeing would be good especially if they finally add a preview option so you can see what a mess you have made before you waste those expensive dye mixes.
Growing hair/beard is a brilliant idea, the neat and trim look for those town people (mesmers suit this) and the unkempt badly needs a clean up look for the warriors, monks and rangers who spend too much time in the wild. For role players and those who drink too much dwarven and hunters ale, a nice beer belly.
Town clothes and jewellery would be handy for those in role play districts if they ever come to existence. More storage would be needed for these extra clothes even if its just for 1 change so you can swap easily between them.

I think if they put in some nice hair styles they should let you change that at least, it's not unreasonable to think characters can change their haircut...
Especially monks, maybe if there are actually some decent ones in Factions there might be some variety in the army of Princess Leia clones..

Perhaps they'll make a male Warrior visage that's anything other than heinous.

I would think that "changing faces for existing characters" isnt that big of a deal to be implemented at this time. IMO it is also sounds "disturbing" if you could do that freely to an existing character during anytime. Freely you can do that to pvp/pve rerolled/recreated characters, but not during ingame.
Hairstyles would be more viable and more "normal" sounding. (a new merchant for hairstyles + hair coloring. would be a nice gold sink, definitely)
/g'day.

Gaile also had an "armor chest" on her wishlist. Someplace she could store all her armor (Which I fully agree with).

Changing your face and Gender isn't a natural process, i think however, you should have freedom to do what you want with your hair.

Im all for the hair color and style changes. I wouldnt mind seeing the one time option to change your face & height (not gender) when you link your existing characters to factions when you buy it.

Why does everybody wants to change faces? YOU chose it, so if you don't like it, it's your own fault, in my opinion. .
Changing hairstyles would be fun, although I'm perfectly happy with mine

I think the reason that some may want to change faces is because they chose the best face they could from the choices given, now there will be new faces that they may like better for their char that they did not have before. Some may want the new face but not have to reroll a new char. They want the ability to have a new face on a existing char. It's as simple as that.

Changing Hair or facial Hair = Reasonable
Changing Faces or Sex = Not gunna happen
Thats why I think they should give us 1 chance, I repeat 1 chance (Not some "oh let me change my face every time I get a new armor to match it") every time we merge our account into another chapter to recreate the appearance of all our characters. In order to get a chance to use the new faces.. But seriously guys a "Plastic Surgeon" is just ridicilous, A "Hair Cutter" or "Barber" is much better.

Personaly, I like the idea of the new faces for the old proffesion. It is actauly thing thing I am MOST looking forward to in factions.
(I have a story, and some of the faces don't fit my characters.)

I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that it was intended, so there is a difference in looks between a Cantha Warrior and an Tyria Warrior. They are the same but look different.
I also thought that the new warriors who start out in cantha won't be able to use the old hairstyles and faces?
Which makes me wonder... will people be able to make a ritualist or assasin in tyria if they have both factions and GW:P, and will they look different?

after i asked gaile about seperate storage for holiday items, like the hats and silly weapons, she said she would love it and as since added that to her wish list aswell.
/signed on hair/colour and town clothes.
not signed on sex change you have 2 choices and they can not give you any more than that so if you changed your mind that is your fault.
faces maybe as you will have many new choices and you are limited in the first place.
and height as there is no comparison to be made when creating so either a change option or a comparison chart when creating.
big sign on facial hair, would love some gruff stubble on my warrior to make him look a bit rougher round the edges or even a full beard to go for a frusty sage look.and to compensate for the ladies maybe some make up sets that you can buy from the hair stylist that would be dyable.

Princess Leia Clones - LOL! I agree with Lozza though. I look disturbingly like a bot now too, and a change would be nice. I'm a human! Not a machine!

I think that they should give us one chance, and one chance only, to change each of our characters with the new content from factions. gender change, height, anything, but only once.
